Thanks, Steven for your comment! I'm glad you actually decided to spend some time presenting your opinion.

I must say you're totally right, a buddha bowl isn't really "one thing." It might have been better if I had chosen "one dish" instead. However, I hope you got the point.

About cultural and aging differences, as you point out, those are inevitable. There are differences even within a single generation. That's the beauty of the nature right? We have our own preferences, our own tastes... I'm a 24 year-old and most of my friends do not eat bowls regularly, maybe from time to time in those Poke Bowl places you mentioned. But I'm a bowl fan for many reasons I stated and I thought it would be nice to share.

Going back to your final question, I lived in Milan until last December, so I left not so long ago (and I miss it TBH). Torino is beautiful too.

Finally: I believe the Italian cuisine is the best out there so nothing to say against it. I hope they don't start eating bowls because their culinary traditions must remain unchanged (in my opinion).
