I Was A Digital Nomad
Oh boy, who doesn’t want to make money from literally anywhere? Just using a laptop? I certainly am one of those obsessed with this concept of freedom and I finally tried it.
Let me share my experience.
Why did I do that?
After all my life living in the same place, at my parents’, I felt ready to move on. Being the person that I am, always focused on growth and self-improvement, living this experience had become a necessity for me.
It all started during my tough college years, in my first drop-out attempt. I wanted to spend some months in Budapest because it looked nice and it was cheap (at least compared with my hometown Barcelona).
But I didn’t have much money and I didn’t have any stable income source. Then Covid came and the idea vanished.
Until it came back.
Some years later, being now 24, I now had a stable income, an amazing job within an amazing company that puts the employees' welfare above anything else, and with impressive conditions such as a flexible schedule and remote working, I now had all that I needed to embark on this adventure.
And I felt like that was the moment to do so. Again, it became a necessity.
