I'm Pol, a guy from Barcelona who likes to write about data science and programming-related stuff (and occasionally about finance or nutrition).
About me
I'm just a random person who is passionate about many things. A guy who never stops and needs more than 24 hours in a day to accomplish everything he wants to accomplish.
Sadly, I won't ever get more time. So my focus is on seizing it as much as possible. And I think I do quite well.
I love programming - but not for the sake of doing it, but with a purpose - I love learning and reading, I love nutrition and sports, I love Barça, I love money, and I love freedom (and many other things).
Professionally
I currently hold a full-time position as a data analyst, but I hardly consider myself one. I mean, I can be a data analyst, but I could be other things as well: a data scientist (junior), a freelance developer, or even a writer now that this Medium thing is getting good traction.
Medium is one of my side hustles, and you'll see me talking about Python programming mostly focused on Data Science, but probably also some data-related articles with R or SQL. Whenever I can, I'll use Barça or Barcelona examples in my posts. Sorry, I can't avoid it.
What can you learn here?
As said, I love learning. But I also love contributing and letting others learn from me. I'm not an expert at anything but I believe I can share some skills and knowledge with many aspiring data scientists or analysts out there.
My focus is always on quality content. That's why I post only two to three posts a month. I take my time to write them and that's why they get published on top-tier publications like Towards Data Science.
Quality over quantity, you know.
